Cumbria - North Dinner

The annual Cumbria dinner was held at the Trout Hotel in Cockermouth on Friday May 2nd 2014. This was our first time in Cockermouth and it proved to be a popular choice. It was a pleasure to welcome the Headmaster, Mr James Davies, for his first Cumbria Branch dinner, Anthony Wills, President of the Society, and Mr Nigel Halfpenny, the current Bursar at the school.
We had a very good meal with good wine, good company and excellent speeches.

The Loyal Toast was given by Stan Holmes; the toast to the Society by the Headmaster; with the response and toast to the school by the President.

The party continued until the wee small hours and very few left early!
